1. About this policy
This policy describes information handled through the BiM Receivables website, participant portals, contact forms and support services. It covers account administration, invoice registration, verification, financing workflows and payment tracking.
2. Information handled
Information may include names, business contact details, email addresses, organization names, tax identifiers, addresses, account access details, invoice and receivable records, uploaded documents, financing requests, payment references, enquiries and support conversations. Security and audit records may include IP addresses, timestamps and actions performed through an account.
3. Why information is used
Information is used to provide accounts and role-based access, maintain registry records, support verification and financing workflows, reconcile payment activity, send service notifications and reports, answer enquiries and disputes, and investigate security or operational issues. Submit only information that you are authorized to provide and that is relevant to the transaction or request.
4. Sharing within the platform
Authorized Sellers, Buyers, Financial Intermediaries and Administrators can access information needed for their roles and transactions. Support tickets and attachments are restricted by organization and role, with access for Administrators. A participant receiving information through a transaction is responsible for its own subsequent handling of that information.
5. Service providers and payments
Hosting, email delivery and payment services process information needed to provide their services. PayPal processes checkout and payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. BiM Receivables records payment identifiers, amounts and statuses; do not submit card details or PayPal passwords through contact or support forms. Provider processing or storage may occur outside your country.
6. Cookies and account security
Authentication and security cookies support sign-in, session management and optional remembered login. Browser settings can restrict cookies, but this may prevent portal features from working. Keep passwords confidential, sign out on shared devices and report suspected unauthorized access promptly. Technical access controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Retention
Account, transaction, support and audit information is retained where needed for service administration, transaction history, security, disputes and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Contact support to ask about the retention or removal of a particular record. Some records may need to remain available for accounting, legal or audit reasons.
8. Access, correction and privacy requests
Contact support to request access to your information, correction of inaccurate details, or review of a deletion or restriction request. Requests may require identity or organization-authority verification. The response depends on applicable requirements and the nature of the record; deleting an account does not automatically erase associated transaction or audit records.
9. Updates and contact
This policy may be updated as the service or its information handling changes. The date shown on this page identifies the current version. Send privacy questions to support@bimreceivables.com or use Contact & Support on the website.
